SPECIALITIES - WORKER'S COMPENSATION
Workers' compensation is a form of insurance that provides wage replacement and medical benefits for employees who are injured on the job. A variety of individuals are involved in the management of a claim, including the injured employee, a physician, claim adjusters, case managers, and sometimes attorneys. All evaluations, treatments, testing, and surgery must be authorized by the appropriate representative of the employer.
Dr. Milne is an experienced workers' compensation provider with extensive experience in the treatment of industrial injuries of the knee and shoulder. He sees a number of workers' compensation patients on weekly basis and is available to provide appointments immediately for evaluation and treatment, independent medical evaluations (IME's), as well as second opinions. Dr. Milne will examine, diagnose, and advise a treatment plan in order to help injured workers reach full recovery and get them back to life and work as quickly and safely as possible. He and his staff take a team approach to helping in recovery and are dedicated to meeting your medical needs along the way. They will complete all paperwork in a timely manner and make sure to have thorough communication with the case managers and/or adjusters. Workers' compensation patients need to coordinate scheduling or rescheduling their appointments with their case manager.
